The experience of democratic transition in Tunisia and ways to strengthen the co-operation relations between Tunisia and its strategic partners, particularly France and the European Union were discussed at a meeting Thursday between Khemaies Jhinaoui, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Hubert Vedrine, former French minister of foreign affairs and President of the “Institut Francois Mitterrand”.

He also called for boosting the European support for the Tunisian democratic experience, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hubert Vedrine, for his part, recalled the solid links binding Tunisia and France bilaterally and multilaterally, within the framework of the European Union.
