Jhinaoui receives true copy of new ambassador’s credentials of Equatorial Guinea in Tunis

Minister of Foreign Affairs Khemaies Jhinaoui received Monday in Tunis, the true copy of the credentials of the new ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Tunis, Gertrudis Nsang Ndong Nsuga.

The Equatorial Guinean diplomat expressed her pride at being the first woman to lead the Equatorial Guinea Embassy to Tunisia, voicing her determination to “further develop the relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries,” according to a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In turn, Jhinaoui asserted his department’s readiness to provide all the necessary conditions for the Equatorial Guinean diplomat to help her accomplish her mission to the best of her ability.

Besides, the two parties have agreed to closely monitor the implementation of the agreements signed during the official visit of President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to Tunisia on February 26th, 27th and 28th. This visit is the first of a President of Equatorial Guinea in Tunisia.

The President of Equatorial Guinea announced, during this visit, the opening of an embassy of his country in Tunisia as part of strengthening relations between the two countries.
