Joint willingness to boost Tunisian-Hungarian co-operation

The Tunisian-Hungarian co-operation and means to develop it were at heart of a meeting Monday in Tunis between Secretary of State to the Foreign Minister Sabri Bachtobji and Hungarian Minister of State for Economic Diplomacy Levente Magyar.

The two officials pointed out on the occasion, joint willingness to boost bilateral co-operation in fields of mutual interest, a Foreign Ministry press release reads.

Magyar hailed the success of the Tunisian experience in matters of democratic transition, commending the Tunisia’s efforts to reinforce its security and stability and recover its position as a privileged tourist destination.

Bachtobji for his part, pointed out Tunisia’s determination to lay the foundations of democracy and achieve development in inland regions inspite of the numerous challenges the country is facing, the same source added.

He stressed the importance to make the most of the offered opportunities, notably in agriculture, higher education and information and communication technologies fields.
