A COVID-19 vaccination campaign targeting the over- 40s was launched Saturday in rural areas in Sbeitla (Kasserine).

The campaign is organised by the Directorate General of Military Health and the local health directorate. It is geared towards supporting the national jab drive, particularly after a presidential decree imposing COVID- 19 vaccine passes on Tunisians, residents and foreign visitors, to access public & private administrative facilities & enter cafes, restaurants, hotels, tourist establishments & others was published in the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic..

The campaign will run over six days and will also benefit delegations that saw poor attendance rates, local healthj director Abdelghani Chaabani told TAP.
