Kébili: Training session on new life-long learning programme

A training session was held Wednesday in Kebili on the new programme of the National Centre for Adult Education (CNEA) on the programme of life-long learning.

This training session is part of the preparations for the change from an adult education centre to a national centre for lifelong learning, director-general of the CNEA, Ali Felhi, told TAP, presuming that in the face of the massive deschooling recorded over the past 10 years, the training centres will offer training adapted to a young target in addition to the traditional target.

According to the same source, the training centres will provide a new teaching programme nationwide including language courses in addition to vocational training with, by the end of the course, national or international work contracts for graduates.

The lifelong learning programme is funded by several international organisations such as Handicap International, the German Adult Education Association in addition to UNICEF and UNESCO, he said.
