Killing of Russian Ambassador to Turkey decried by Tunisia as “heinous crime”

Tunisia firmly denounced the killing Monday of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey as a ” heinous crime.”

The Foreign Ministry Tuesday urged the international community to make further efforts to stand up against extremism and terrorism that threaten peace and security across the globe.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs annonced on Monday evening that the ambassador in Ankara was killed in “a terrorist attack.”

Andrei Karlov was gunned down as he was delivering an address at an art exhibition in Ankara.
