Mama's Light Foundation: Mama's Light Foundation marked Mother's Day 2025 with a heartfelt tribute to mothers in Ghana and around the world, celebrating their strength, resilience, and unwavering love.

According to Ghana News Agency, the Foundation expressed deep gratitude to mothers everywhere and highlighted the pivotal role they played in shaping homes, communities, and future generations. The organization, named after the late Mrs. Lawrencia Larweh, whose legacy of service and empowerment inspired its mission, used the occasion to reaffirm its commitment to women and child development in underserved cocoa-growing regions.

The Foundation announced the launch of its 'Light up a Mother's Life' campaign, aimed at providing livelihood and mentorship support to 40 women-led households in cocoa districts across the Eastern and Oti Regions. Through ongoing literacy programmes, vocational training, and community outreach, Mama's Light Foundation continues to champion opportunities for women and children in rural Ghana.

Ms. Elizabeth Larweh, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, expressed gratitude by saying, 'To all mothers, those who birthed us, raised us, and continue to guide us, we say thank you.'
