Mamobi Disturbance: Police Offer GHC20,000 for Information Leading to Arrest of Armed Suspect

Accra: In response to recent disturbances in Mamobi involving supporters of the NPP and NDC, the Ghana Police Service has announced a GHC20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man seen with a firearm during the conflicts. According to Ghana News Agency, the suspect, identified as Fatau Motorway, is currently the subject of a police manhunt. The Police Service has issued a statement declaring him wanted and is urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist in his capture. The police have emphasized the importance of community support in their intelligence-led efforts to ensure public safety and apprehend those responsible for inciting violence. They hope the financial incentive will encourage witnesses or anyone with knowledge about Fatau Motorway's whereabouts to contact the authorities.
