Mandatory use of e-procurement system for ministries as of September 1

TUNEPS, the Tunisian e-procurement system, will be mandatory as of next September 1.

It will be mandatory for all ministries, non-administrative public institutions and public facilities, pursuant to Decree n 34 of May 11, 2018, issued by the Prime Ministry.

Public institutions and local communities will join TUNEPS in September 2019.

A notice of a competitive public tender must be issued thirty days at least before the time limit set for the receipt of tenders via the platform TUNEPS, the media or the website of the High Authority for Public Procurement (HAICOP), the Prime Ministry said.
