Accra: The highly esteemed Turkish World Golf Cup qualifier landed in Accra with local high-profile figures and members of the business community attending the event.
According to Ghana News Agency, since its inception in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has brought together over 8,000 players to compete against one another in more than 118 tournaments across 67 countries worldwide. The event at Achimota Golf Club marked the 100th of 118 tournaments in this year’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, with the victors set to compete in the Grand Finals in Trkiye later this year.
From a global total of 118, those who win will advance to the Grand Finals, where they have the opportunity to stay and play at Gloria Serenity Resort and Gloria Golf Club on the Turkish Golf Coast. Representing Accra, Christophe De Jenlis secured the champion position with 42 points, while Ama Morgan was the runner-up, and Ashish Ram Mathema came third.

nd Vastie Amoafo-Yeboah for the women. Christopher Mbii achieved the lowest gross with a score of 69. Mr. Aytekin Serbest, Turkish Airlines General Manager in Ghana, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming participation and thanked the management of Achimota Golf Club for their support in making the tournament a success.
