Premier Hichem Mechichi met Monday in Doha with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

The meeting focused on ways to boost investment and technical cooperation, in particular, the Prime Ministry said in a press release.

Mechichi shed light on the close relations between Tunisia and Qatar and placed emphasis on the need to bolster relations in all fields and ensure prosperity in both countries.

The Qatari official said his country fully supports the Tunisian experience and is ready to lend support in all fields. Qatar also wants to tap in the Tunisian expertise.
