One death due to the Coronavirus has been reported during the last 48 hours in the governorate of Medenine where the death toll linked to the pandemic has reached 643 people.
Moreover, 61 more infected people have been recorded, which brings to 15,507 the total number of cases of infection in the region since the outbreak of the virus, Zayd Al-Anz, Director of Preventive Health in Medenine, told TAP Agency.
Besides, 82 patients have recovered from the infection in the region where the number of cured cases has reached 14,772 cases.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign in mid-March, more than 50 thousand citizens have been administered the vaccine against the Coronavirus in the governorate of Medenine, according to the same source.
