The Tunisian Handball Federation announced Sunday, the final list of players decided by the coach Patrick Cazal to take part in the Men’s World Handball Championship co-hosted by Poland and Sweden from January 11 to 29.
The list is composed of the following 18 players: Assil Nemli, Mehdi Harbaoui, Yassine Belgaied, Oussama Boughanmi, Ghassène Toumi, Oussama Rmiki, Hazem Bacha, Bilel Abdelli, Mohamed Amine Darmoul, Youssef Maaref, Abdelhak Ben Salah, Anoaur Ben Abdallah, Noureddine Maoua, Tarek Jallouz, Issam Rzig, Oussama Jebali, Jihed Jaballah and Ghazi Ben Ghali.
In the preliminary round of Men’s World Handball Championship 2023, Tunisia will play in Group H alongside Denmark, Belgium and Bahrain.
The national team will kick off on January 13 facing Bahrain in Malmö (Sweden) before taking on Belgium on January 15 and Denmark on January 17 in the same city.
