The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad called on the Tunisian community in Ukraine to stay “vigilant” and keep in touch with Tunisian embassies in Moscow and Warsaw to update personal and consular data.
Tunisian expatriates are strongly recommended to exercise “increased caution and vigilance” when traveling so as “to avoid risk areas” and comply with instructions issued by authorities of the country of residence, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a press release.
The ministry urges Tunisian nationals, especially those living in areas where tension is heightened, or those willing to leave Ukraine to take all necessary measures, adding that it is still possible to fly back to Tunisia.
The ministry also urges Tunisian citizens to postpone their travel to Ukraine until further notice, when the situation improves.
