According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, Pressethe minister stressed the need to raise the level of vigilance, strengthen direct and continuous communication with members of the Tunisian community, and update emergency plans in line with developments in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East. He also underlined the importance of close coordination with the authorities of host countries and with all Tunisian diplomatic and consular missions in the region to ensure the protection of Tunisian interests. The Minister of Foreign Affairs called on all members of the Tunisian community in the concerned countries to exercise the utmost caution, comply with instructions issued by local authorities, and take the initiative to register with diplomatic and consul ar missions for those who have not yet completed their registration procedures. He also urged them to regularly update their contact details to ensure swift intervention when necessary. The minister noted that the crisis cell established within the ministry operates around the clock, ensuring real-time monitoring of developments and continuous coordination with diplomatic and consular missions abroad. Two emergency phone numbers, 98317530 and 92998087, have been dedicated to receiving inquiries and concerns from members of the Tunisian community and providing them with the necessary support. Following the serious events unfolding in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East, and as part of ongoing and close monitoring of developments, Nafti chaired a remote meeting with heads of Tunisian diplomatic and consular missions accredited to the concerned countries, attended by the Secretary of State and several senior ministry officials. The meeting focused on assessing the readiness of diplomatic and consular missi ons to deal with various developments and on taking the necessary preventive measures, in coordination with host-country authorities, to ensure the safety of Tunisian nationals residing in those countries.
