The Permanent Military Court of Tunis on Wednesday dismissed the case of Yassine Ayari, Member of Parliament whose activities are suspended, in a case related to social media posts in 2014, lawyer Mokhar Jemai told TAP.

Jemai, member of the defence collective of Yassine Ayari, said the Military Court has overruled the first instance judgment sentencing the MP to 15 days in prison. This judgment was increased to three months in prison on appeal.

This case was raised when Ayari became a member of parliament, February 7, 2018, after winning the parliamentary by-elections in the constituency of Germany.
