Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Jordan’s ambassador in Tunis

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar met, on Wednesday, with ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Tunis Maher Al-Tarawneh. Ways to strengthen cooperation ties between the two countries, as well as the upcoming bilateral meetings, including the Tunisian-Jordanian High Joint Commission, were on the agenda of this meeting, said a Ministry statement. The two sides commended bilateral relations and stressed the need to continue consultations on Arab, regional and international issues of common interest. The Minister said Tunisia condemns the blatant comments by an official of the Zionist entity denying the existence of the Palestinian people. Tunisia stands by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and denounces acts of provocation and aggression that undermine the peace efforts undertaken in the Middle East, he stressed.
