Minister of Justice meets with Guinean counterpart

Justice Minister Ghazi Jribi, on Monday, discussed with his Guinean counterpart Cheick Sako ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the judiciary and the possibility of signing other bilateral agreements and MoUs in this area, the ministry said in a statement.

The Guinean Minister reaffirmed his country’s keenness to consolidate co-operation between the two countries and to draw on the Tunisian experience in the judicial field and structuring of justice in Tunisia, especially after the establishment of the Supreme Judicial Council, in accordance with the 2014 Constitution.

Cheick Sako is visiting Tunisia on the occasion of the 5th Tunisian-Guinean joint commission meeting (February 19-20), co-chaired by Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Khemaies Jhinaoui and his Guinean counterpart Mamady Toure.

Several agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed between the two countries in various areas of political and economic co-operation, such as technological and industrial development, the post and information and communication technologies (ICT), agriculture, social affairs, vocational and technical training and politics.
