The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has taken delivery of 680 copies of the #AfCfTA books for onward distribution to all of Ghana’s 68 missions abroad.
This gesture was to deepen the ministry’s active support for knowledge acquisition and full sensitization of the AfCFTA.
A statement signed by Selasi Kofi Ackom, Chief Executive officer of GITFiC and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said the Ministry had been supportive in their activities.
‘Our missions home and abroad are direct representatives of our image out there. Their understanding and preparedness on this subject is of importance, considering the fact that Ghana is the proud host of the AfCFTA secretariat and Accra declared as the commercial capital of Africa.’
According to the statement each mission would receive 10 books to read and place copies at the reception areas (knowledge sharing) of missions for visitors.
The statement commended the Minster, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey , the Chief Director, the Director and de
