Mobile money transfer service launched

The Ministry of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy announced the launch starting from Monday of electronic services for the transfer of mobile money.

The ministry said in a press release on Monday, that this service was launched in co-operation with the Finance Ministry, the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), the Electronic Cashing Company of Tunisia, the Tunisian Post, Tunisie Telecom, Ooredoo Tunisia and Orange Tunisia, and will be gradually generalised by the end of June 2018, to all banks and daily commercial operations.

This service consists in the transfer of money in a simple, fast and secure way, regardless of the mobile operator, from a bank account or postal account to another account, without going to the bank and or post office.
