144 COVID-19 fatalities had been reported on July 10, taking the death toll in Tunisia to 16,388, the Health Ministry said Sunday.
6,592 infections were further logged from 19,227 conducted tests (incidence rate 34.29%), pushing the caseload to 487,613.
Recoveries rose by 5,288, hitting 393,305.
4,463 patients were hospitalised till July 10, 24 hours, including 636 in intensive care units and 153 under ventilators.
In its daily update, the Health Ministry specifies that the number of deaths communicated on a daily basis refers to the number of deaths reported on the same day. It also includes deaths that occurred in the last 24 hours and were reported on the same day, as well as deaths that occurred in the previous days and were not reported.
The ministry added that the increase in the number of deaths should not be interpreted as an increase in the last 24 hours, adding that the data is updated via the graph in the daily report.
