Mohamed Ennaceur meets ambassadors of UK, Poland and Lebanon

Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Mohamed Ennaceur, on Tuesday, held talks in Bardo with ambassadors of the United Kingdom, Poland and Lebanon to Tunisia, the parliament reported in a statement.

Ennaceur discussed with UK ambassador Louise De Sousa bilateral and multilateral co-operation and the common desire to strengthen it, the statement added.

The British diplomat stressed her country’s support to the process of democratic transition, saying the stability and improvement of the security situation in Tunisia encourage investment and tourism.

The HPR Speaker’s talk with Mrs. Lidia Milka-Wieczorkiewicz, Polish Ambassador, reviewed ways to foster the relations of partnership and friendship between the two countries in all fields.

It also made it possible to exchange views on parliamentary cooperation, the statement said.

Ennaceur’s meeting with Lebanon’s ambassador in Tunis Tony Frangie, focused on the mechanisms of parliamentary co-operation between the HPR and the Lebanese parliament and ways to consolidate the relations of co6operation and partnership between the two countries in all fields, said the same source.
