Mohamed Ennaceur officially announces dissolution of parliamentary group of Afek Tounes

Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Mohamed Ennaceur, officially, announced at a plenary session Friday the resignation of Afek Tounes MP Ali Bennour from his parliamentary group thus causing the dissolution of the group.

The announcement was made at the beginning of the plenary session devoted to the review of the draft organic law relating to the code on local authorities.

The HPR, on Friday, posted on its official website the new composition of parliamentary groups which is as follows: Ennahdha (68 MPs), Nidaa Tounes (55 MPs), Al-Horra movement Machrou Tounes (21 MPs), Popular Front (15 MPs), Democratic group (12 MPs), Free Patriotic Union (11 MPs), Al-Watania group (10 MPs), Allegiance to the Homeland (10 MPs) and non-affiliated (15 MPs.
