Monastir: suspected terrorist arrested in Moknine

A 28-year-old man suspected of being a terrorist was arrested by security forces in the district of Moknine, governorate of Monastir, a security source told TAP correspondent.

The young man, native of Amiret Hajjaj, delegation of Moknine, swore allegiance to terrorist organisation Daesh and planned to leave for Syria, according to the same source.

Security forces seized leaflets, correspondence and electronic devices used to communicate with terrorists in Syria, said the source.

The investigation is still ongoing with the individual pending his transfer to the Tunis anti-terrorist judicial division.
