MoU on establishing periodic political consultations between Tunisia and Lithuania, inked

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on establishing periodic political consultations between Tunisia and Lithuania was inked on Wednesday in Tunis.

This MoU was inked at the end of the first Tunisian-Lithuanian political consultation session, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday in a press release.

Co-chaired by Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bachtobji and Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas, this first session helped assess the Tunisian-Lithuanian relations in various fields.

Besides, regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed during this meeting.

Germanas is currently paying a three-day visit to Tunisia.
