MP Abdellatif Aloui (Al Karama coalition) and TV host Amer Ayed were apprehended on Sunday. The military judiciary ordered the arrests over crititical comments aimed at President Kais Saied at a programme broadcast on private Zaitouna channel, said lawyer Samir Ben Amor.

Both are facing charges of conspiring against state security and insulting the army.
