Municipal elections: Group of youth launches application to interact with candidates

Four young people from the island of Djerba launched Saturday an application to allow users to know all the necessary data on candidates in municipal elections and their election programmes.

According to Slim Belghith, one of them, this initiative is part of their project (PolitAgora) carried out at the remote work centre of Djerba.

This application allows to communicate and interact with political actors and to analyze the political discourse of the different candidates for a considered choice on election day, he explained.

The project (PolitAgora) was realized as part of the hack4democracy competition organised last September in Tunisia at the initiative of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
