Municipality of Moknine allocates 2.7 MD for local projects in 2018

The municipality of Moknine has allocated 2.7 million dinars for the realisation of local projects for the year 2018. These are road infrastructure, sanitation, public lighting, landscaping and rainwater drainage projects.

Regarding the local projects planned in 2017 and to which a budget of 3 million dinars has been earmarked, works should start in two or three weeks, delegate of Moknine, president of the special delegation of the municipality, Amor Ammar told TAP.

The land issues that were behind the delay in the implementation of these projects were smoothed, announced secretary general of the municipality, Moez Ben Amara.

Participants in the first inclusive meeting (citizens, representatives of the civil society) held, Saturday evening, by the special delegation of the municipality, called for increasing the budget allocated to local projects, drawing up a master development plan of the city, combating fuel traffic and the uncontrolled use of sidewalks by cafes and shops, allocating funds for the promotion of cultural activities and creating a cinema.
