Nabeul – Coronavirus: 19 deaths during the last 24 hours

19 people in the governorate of Nabeul have died of the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 872 the number of deaths of the pandemic in the region, Omar Selimi, Director of Preventive Health in Nabeul, told TAP.

He said that the deceased are aged between 41 and 93 years and were reported as follows: 6 deaths in Hammamet, 3 in Kélibia, 3 in Dar Chaâbane El Fehri, 1 in Béni Khalled, 1 in Menzel Bou Zelfa, 1 in Grombalia, 1 in Béni Khiar, 1 in Soliman, 1 in Takelsa and 1 in El Haouaria.

Moreover, 212 new cases of infection were recorded in the region following the publication of the results of 753 laboratory tests, i.e. a positivity rate of 28%.

According to the same source, the total number of positive cases detected in the governorate of Nabeul since the spread of the epidemic has reached 28,563 cases including several cases that have been cured while the current number of active cases amounts to 4,341 cases.
