Nabeul: tourism indicators show improvement

Tourism indicators in the first ten months of the year in Yasmine-Hammamet posted an improvement, Local Tourism Delegate Khaled Glouia told TAP on Wednesday.

 

Tourist numbers grew 74.3% on last year with a total of 543, 311 visitors. The number of bednights saw a 139% rise compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 19, 017,585.

 

The domestic market is top-ranked followed by the French and Algerian markets, Glouia added. The current season saw the return of the German and English visitors.

 

A 77% rise in tourist arrivals was recorded in Nabeul in the period from January to October, Regional Tourism Delegate Wahid Ben Fraj said. Tourist numbers fell well short of the 2019 figures (-20%).
