National Security Council meets

President Beji Caid Essebsi chaired, Thursday, the National Security Council meeting.

Kamel Akrout, 1st Adviser to the President of the Republic, said that the meeting had reviewed the security situation in the country and pointed out the continuous improvement recorded in this regard.

The security situation at the regional and international levels was also on the agenda of the meeting.

Besides, the Council looked at the measures to be taken regarding the return of Tunisian terrorists from conflict zones, according to a Presidency of the Republic press release.

The meeting was attended by the Parliament Speaker, the Prime Minister, Ministers and senior security and military officials.
