New virtual edition of EU-Japan-Africa Business Forum from February 14 to 18

A new edition of the European Union (EU)-Africa Business Forum will be held virtually from February 14 to 18, 2022, to facilitate the connection between European, Japanese and African companies for joint trilateral projects in Africa, the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) said Friday.

This event is organised by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and in partnership with EEN Tunisia, of which CEPEX is the national administrator.

It concerns companies with pre-existing experience with Africa or with concrete projects targeting African markets. These companies must have their headquarters in Africa, with pre-existing experience with international partners (ideally European and/or Japanese), and a concrete project in the pipeline requiring international partners.

They should also be looking for European and Japanese partners for joint projects in Africa, and have staff in a senior position who can assist with twinning.

These companies are called upon to join this B2B matchmaking event, in order to find new potential business partners for their projects in Africa.

The EU-Africa Business Forum allows participating companies to identify committed partners, organise “tailor-made virtual meetings”, develop their business networks, share experiences with international business contacts, follow market trends and identify technological innovations, according to CEPEX.

To participate, companies can register for free via the link: https://eu-japan-africa-2022.b2match.io/.
