Newly Appointed NSC Director Visits Effutu Traditional Area, Seeks Cooperation

WINNEBA: Mr. Bawah Fuseini, the recently appointed Acting Director of the National Sports College (NSC) in Winneba, met with Neenyi Ghartey VII, the Paramount Chief of the Effutu Traditional Area, in a formal visit aimed at fostering collaboration and receiving the Chief's blessings as he steps into his new role. According to Ghana News Agency, the visit was intended to introduce Mr. Fuseini to the traditional leadership and to seek their support and guidance. Mr. Fuseini, who also serves as the President of Ghana Athletics, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by the Chief and highlighted his commitment to working together to promote the development of the College. Neenyi Ghartey VII congratulated Mr. Fuseini on his appointment and assured him of the traditional council's support. He underscored the significance of revitalizing the National Sports College, recalling its contributions to the Aboakyer festival, and expressed optimism for its future impact on the Winneba community. Mr. Fuseini, who assumed office officially on October 15, 2024, was joined by Florence Adams, head of the public relations unit, and Joseph Appiah, head of accounts at the College.
