Sefwi Bekwai: Nana Yaw Donkor II, the newly installed Chief of Sefwi Bekwai Adobewura in the Western North Region, has expressed his readiness to prioritise unity to foster peace, growth, and development in the community. He emphasized that chieftaincy disputes and communal unrest are obstacles to development, and the Adobewura community cannot afford to sacrifice its development and unity to such issues.

According to Ghana News Agency, Nana Donkor II stated his intention to use his chieftaincy as a tool to drive development and bring prosperity to his people. He has already demonstrated his commitment to the community by donating a community information centre, 30 school desks, and 50 plastic chairs to both the community and the local school. Nana Donkor II highlighted that education would be one of his major areas of focus.
