– Exhibition Gathers International Stakeholders to Invest in Nigeria’s Agriculture Sector
ABUJA, Nigeria, Nov. 17, 2014 / PRNewswire — Agra Innovate Nigeria, a pioneering trade event, will takes place on November 18-20, 2014 bringing together international agricultural technology providers and key Nigerian dignitaries, policy makers, agribusiness leaders and entrepreneurs. The event aims to identify key opportunities for growth, innovation and investment in Nigeria’s booming agriculture industry.

A wide range of international exhibitors, including BASF, Buhler AG and Silos Cordoba, will be in attendance from countries including Germany, Spain, Canada, Turkey, India, South Africa, the UK, China and the U.S.
The agriculture industry in Nigeria is substantial, employing approximately 70 percent of the population, and continues to grow through innovative programs. Nigeria is widely known as Africa’s leading oil producer, but its large swathes of arable land, particularly in the North, provide Africa’s largest economy with additional opportunities to create sustainable jobs and provide food for a burgeoning population.
