Nightingale Hospital Donates Medical Supplies to Volta Regional Hospital


Hohoe: The Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone, London, has contributed boxes of medical supplies to the Volta Regional Hospital in Hohoe to support the improvement of health services.



According to Ghana News Agency, the donation included seven cartons of face shields, fourteen cartons of surgical masks, three cartons of surgical gowns, as well as five cartons of assorted needles, syringes, intravenous lines, and sanitizer, along with a carton of hand gloves.



Mr. Hehetror Senyo, representing the London-based hospital, made the donation following an earlier contribution by Madam Freda Agyemang-Hehetror in July 2023. He noted that Madam Agyemang-Hehetror’s donation, as a staff member of the Nightingale Hospital, inspired the facility to extend their support to the Volta Regional Hospital.



Mr. Hehetror emphasized that the hospital’s support for Madam Agyemang-Hehetror was intended to benefit healthcare delivery in various ways. He expressed hope that the Volta Regional Hospital would effectively utilize the donated items to enhance their operations.



Receiving the supplies, Madam Esther Kporwofe, Nurse Manager at the Volta Regional Hospital, conveyed gratitude to the donors on behalf of the hospital’s management and staff. She assured that the items would be utilized effectively and efficiently to improve health services in the region.
