Nineteen countries at Tunis International Meeting “Grand Prix,” April 9-16

The 11th edition of the Tunis International Meeting “Grand Prix” will be organised by the National Paralympics Committee, April 9-16 in Rades, with the participation of 300 athletes (men and women) representing 19 countries.

President of the Tunisian Federation of Sports for the Disabled(FTSH) Mohamed Mezoughi said on Thursday at a press conference, that Tunisia will be represented in this by 65 athletes (35 men and 30 women), including Olympic medallists in the 2016 Paralympics, namely Walid Ktila, Maroua Brahmi, Raoua Tlili, Abbes Said as well as new young talents.

The meeting will also see the presence of foreign Olympic medallists such as the Greek Manolis Stefanovdakis (Javelin Gold Medal T50 Olympics 2016) and Algerian Abdellatif Bakka (1,500 m T13 silver medal).

Nineteen countries in addition to Tunisia namely Algeria, Greece, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Mali, Mozambique, Portugal, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Angola, Rwanda and Namibia will participate in the meeting.
