Nineteen undocumented migrants from various African countries were rescued by a Navy unit, after their boat capsized off Louata, governorate of Sfax, the National Defence Ministry announced Saturday.
The search is ongoing for three missing people, the same source added.
The migrants said they had set off on Friday night from the coast of Sfax on a boat with 22 people on board to reach Europe.
They had been taken to the Sfax port to take the necessary measures against them, the press release indicated.
