Rabat – The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform said, Friday, that it has been decided not to implement the procedure for withholding salaries of civil servants and employees of public institutions who have not yet completed their vaccination scheme.
This decision was taken in light of the positive commitment of civil servants and employees of public institutions to the procedures and measures taken to preserve the achievements of the Kingdom against the pandemic, through the acceleration of the completion of their vaccination scheme, said the Ministry in a statement.
It also comes, added the same source, based on the directives of the Head of Government concerning the positive interaction with the request of the most representative trade unions, advocating flexibility and awareness approach in monitoring the commitment of civil servants to comply with procedures and measures taken in various public institutions.
This decision also emanates from the concern of the government to create a climate conducive to social dialogue with social partners, said the statement.
After stressing the importance of the involvement of public administrations in the continued adoption of preventive measures to ensure the safety of employees, the Ministry called on all civil servants and employees of public institutions to comply with the guidelines issued by public authorities to stem the spread of the epidemic in Morocco and thus, achieve collective immunity.
