Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Nasreddine Nsibi met Monday in Tunis with Vice President International of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) of Africa and the Middle East, Saïdou SANOU.
The meeting discussed ways to boost co-operation between the Ministry and JCI Africa and the Middle East in the areas of employment and entrepreneurship.
During the meeting, Nsibi stressed the need to establish a partnership program between the ministry and the junior chamber and to sign an agreement between the two parties to boost cooperation especially in the areas of entrepreneurship and leadership for the creation of 100 projects in the framework of social and solidarity economy, for youth in several governorates.
The Minister of Employment stressed the government’s commitment to consolidate mentoring and support of young job seekers and young entrepreneurs in order to integrate them into the labour market, according to a statement from the ministry.
For his part, the VPI of the JCI Africa and the Middle East stated his organisation’s commitment to intensify cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Employment and all its structures in order to provide concrete solutions to boost the employability of young people and facilitate their integration into the labour market, especially through entrepreneurship.
