OIC: Jerandi holds talks in Islamabad with representatives of Libya and Kuwait

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi, on Wednesday, held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the margins of the 48th Ordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in the Pakistani capital Islamabad.

The two ministers exchanged views on items on the agenda of this session and on current international and regional issues, the Ministry said in a statement.

They reviewed the upcoming bilateral issues, while commending the level of relations between the leaders and peoples of the two countries.

In the same context, Jerandi met with Libyan Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Mohamed Issa.

The meeting focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations as well as on developments in Libya.

Jerandi reiterated Tunisia’s position in favour of strengthening security and stability in Libya, according to the same source.
