Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur has maintained her 5th world ranking within the static top 5 of the WTA rankings, which remain unaffected as of Monday. The leaderboard continues to be dominated by Poland's Iga Swiatek ahead of the US Open. This comes after Spain's Sara Sorribes (55th) won the ATP 250 tournament in Cleveland on Saturday. Twelve of the world's top women are ranked just below Swiatek, including Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka and US Jessica Pegula. Switzerland's Belinda Bencic (13th) climbed two places to overtake Russia's Daria Kasatkina and Liudmila Samsonova, who are now 14th and 15th respectively. The top 10 WTA rankings, published on Monday 28 August, are as follows: 1. Iga Swiatek (POL) 9955 points 2. Aryna Sabalenka (BLR) 8746 3. Jessica Pegula (USA) 5945 points 4.
