Orange Summer Challenge 2020: ODACO solution, intelligent sports coach, wins first Prize

The technological solution ODACO, which provides an intelligent sports coach and gives sportsmen and women the unique experience of a private session at home, is the first winner of the 10th digital edition of Orange Summer Challenge (OSC), the competition for Orange Digital Center geeks, according to a press release from the telephone operator in Tunis.

At an OSC2020 digital awards ceremony held mid-week, the ODACO solution was awarded first prize, followed by the Ubo application, the intelligent companion that helps autistic children adapt to daily tasks and interact with the outside world.

The developers of Lenus, an intelligent solution to digitalise hotel services and thus to enshrine physical distance, won the third prize.

The fourth prize went to the Eaze team, an intelligent solution that improves and simplifies the consumer’s experience in supermarkets.

Some 24 students in four teams were selected to take part in the OSC 2020 competition on the theme of “Technology for physical distance”, which is organised in partnership with Google and with the support of the German technical cooperation agency GIZ.

“Supervised and coached by experts from Orange Developer Center and EL FabSpace Lac, the teams developed innovative technological solutions based on artificial intelligence and embedded systems, according to the same source. They were trained by Google in cloud computing and machine learning technologies directly applicable to their projects. They were also able to benefit from the experience of the German cooperation and its local expertise to meet the challenges inherent in the employability and entrepreneurship of young people.
