Parliament to vote confidence in two new government members next Friday

The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) will meet a plenary session next Friday to vote confidence in the two new government members appointed in the recent Cabinet reshuffle conducted by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.

The plenary was scheduled after an official correspondence was received by the President of the Republic in which he asks the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) to a set a plenary session dedicated to the confidence vote in the two new government members, assessor of the HPR Speaker in charge of information and communication Mohamed Ben Souf said after the meeting of the Parliament Bureau on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Youssef Chahed had decided on November 18, 2018, to make a partial cabinet reshuffle, under which he appointed Imed Hammami, Minister of Health and Slim Feriani, Minister of Industry and Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs).
