Passengers arriving on charter flight are exempted from mandatory quarantine, provided they apply the protocol imposed by the Ministry of Tourism.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement issued Wednesday after a meeting between members of the scientific committee to combat the coronavirus and the team at the operations room in charge of managing the COVID-19 pandemic, the exemption also applies to young people under 18 years, and people who came to receive health care, as well as those who have completed the vaccination process and children under 12 years.
Screening operations and PCR tests are conducted at the various border checkpoints to detect any infection and place infected cases in mandatory quarantine, recalled the same source.
