Passing of Azouz Lasram, former Minister of Economy under Bourguiba

Azouz Lasram, former Minister of the National Economy under Habib Bourguiba (September 1974-December 1977) died on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 88 years.

After studying law in Paris and two years at the National School of Administration, Azouz Lasram pursued a career in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Planning before holding the post of Minister of The National Economy until 1977.

Mr. Lasram was also an outstanding figure of Club African, which he chaired from 1964 to 1966 and from 1971 to 1977.
