People with disabilities should be given priority in COVID-19 vaccination, The Tunisian Organisation for the Defence of the Rights of People with Disabilities (OTDDPH) said Wednesday.

Both the Prime Ministry and the Social Affairs Ministry should give priority of vaccine to people with disabilities, particularly those from specialised centers and specific protection centers, specialised centres for the blind and sportspeople with disabilities, OTDDPH President Yosri Mezati told TAP.

Mezati said that he had sent a correspondence about 10 days ago to the Prime Ministry asking it to provide vaccination to people with disabilities. He was told that the request is being reviewed in coordination with the Social Affairs Ministry.
