People with disabilities will partake in public consultation thanks to mobile teams

Mobile teams will be dispatched by mid-February in specialised education centres to help people with disabilities partake in the online public consultation.

Mobile teams supervised by the Youth and Sports Ministry, will be equipped with tablets and will target the 18 years old and over, President of the Tunisian Organisation for the Defence of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Yosri Mzati told TAP.

Launched since last January 15, the public consultation is open to all Tunisian citizens till March 20, 2022.

It aims to offer all the citizens, whether residents in Tunisia or abroad, with the opportunity to express themselves freely and transparently on the democratic transition in Tunisia, using an unconventional mechanism in a participatory approach allowing a common conception of Tunisia’s future.

Ideas could be proposed to conceive new visions and approaches to help manage public affairs in its various aspects.
