PM decides on drafting cybercrime bill

Prime Minister Youssef Chahed decided at an inner Cabinet meeting held Tuesday in Tunis the drafting of a bill on cybercrime, in so far as 90% of crimes are meticulously planned on communication networks.

Youssef Chahed also decided to turn the Directorate of Borders and Aliens into a Directorate General and recommended providing it will all resources.

The inner Cabinet meeting also focused on the organisation of work of audiovisual production companies which produce programmes for the benefit of foreign TV channels.

The meeting was attended by Ministers of the Interior, Defense and Justice, as well as the Chief of Staff of the President and security officials.
