Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romadhane on Saturday received tennis player Ons Jabeur, in the presence of Youth and Sports Minister Kamal Deguiche.

The premier congratulated the Tunisian tennis-woman for her impressive performances which earned her for the first time in her history a place among the ten best professional players in the world.

She pointed out that Ons Jabeur stands as a good model of success and perseverance for the youth, calling on her to continue to hoist the national colours high in all international events.

Ons Jabeur for her part, voiced delight at meeting the Prime Minister and touring the Kasbah Palace, an important historical monument, saying that she will spare no effort to achieve other successes and honour Tunisia’s flag at the international level.

She added that like all Tunisians, she likes taking up the challenge and will spare no effort to become world number one.
